How does someone apply for your services?

We partner with local social service agencies only who nominate clients in need. It is required that these clients have secure housing in place.

I have items to donate, what is the process?

Any larger furniture items can be donated to Remix Market in Stamford, CT. Check the Donations page for more info.

Household items and smaller furniture (think anything that can fit in the back of an SUV) can be picked up. Please email us to coordinate amy@furnishingfaith.org.

What areas do you pick up in?

Norwalk, Darien, New Canaan, Westport, Fairfield, Trumbull, Stratford, and Milford.

Do you charge for donation pickups?

Not currently, but any individual donation is appreciated to help in our mission!

What condition should my items be in?

Good, usable condition with no tears, rips, chips, etc. No cleaning or repairs needed please.

Do I get a tax deductible receipt for my donation?

Not yet! The 501(c)(3) is in progress so a tax ID number is not yet available. Look out for our official business approval coming by the end of 2025!

Where do these items go?

All donations will be used for individuals/families moving from homelessness into a permanent, secured home. These goods will never be sold.
